Transporting Bees Inside a Car

Overview

If you drive a hatchback or for some other reason you have to transport bees in your car (e.g., a swarm), turn the air conditioner on, set to a low temperature, and the fan on high. This does two things:

  1. the fan will help to keep the stray bees in the back of the vehicle, and
  2. the chilled air will deter the bees from coming to the front seat.

This certainly makes you look less dorky than driving around with your bee suit on.
