Transporting Bees Inside a Car
Overview
If you drive a hatchback or for some other reason you have to transport bees in your car (e.g., a swarm), turn the air conditioner on, set to a low temperature, and the fan on high. This does two things:
- the fan will help to keep the stray bees in the back of the vehicle, and
- the chilled air will deter the bees from coming to the front seat.
This certainly makes you look less dorky than driving around with your bee suit on.
